Welcome to my HOW TO BE A CHILDREN'S BOOK AUTHOR website. My name is Chris Padovano, and I have over 33 children's books published that I have done the illustrations for.

All the other websites I have seen on creating a children's book are so technical and very business like, and as far as I am concerned, creating a book for children should be fun. So I have tried to take the technical out of the process, and have taken all the knowledge and experience that I have accumilated over the years as a children's book artist and put them together in a fun filled, easy to follow instuctive website that I hope you will find useful as well as enjoyable.

I have been a children's book artist for the past several years. I have had over 30 children's books published, written by great authors from all over the world. I pride myself on not just being an artist for these authors, but helping them with all the little stuff they need to have done to get their book published.

I am known for giving "My Two Cents"...honest opinions and hopefully helpful advice, to all the authors I work with...sometimes they take my two cents and sometimes they don't....that's what is contained in this website. My advice...my opinions...take it or leave it. I hope you will find my advice helpful and I hope you enjoy the process...I want to see all you want-to-be-authors in print.
